Dorset's Property Pilot celebrates it's 10th year

Property Pilot, the commercial property database, run by the Local Authorities of Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole, has celebrated its 10th Birthday. The system, developed by Alcium Software was setup in 1999 to assist businesses in finding the right premises from which to operate.

The database has registered over 7,000 commercial properties over the 10 years. More than 11,000 enquiries have been taken in the 10 years, of which well over a thousand have resulted in a successful outcome.

Property Pilot Project Officer Jo Rufus commented: “Over the years the project has moved from strength to strength and enjoys the confidence of commercial property agents and owners in the area, the region and nationally.”
